Large bowl of reddish brown clay. Inside has combed design of wavy lines and concentric circles of cream white glaze scratched through to show light brown. Splashes of brown and green inside. Six sand mark on bottom inside. Outside glazed only on upper half. Small hole drilled through the foot.

(Ye-karatsu) Karatsu is a generic name for a wide variety of ceramics made south of the city of Karatsu in Hizen Province
