Inscriptions/Signature

This wooden recorder is in two parts. It is a glossy orange-brown color.

2007.0543.a is the mouthpiece with an angled end and square whistlehole. There are three lines incised around the distal end.

2007.0543.b is cylindrical with a slight flare at the distal end. The proximal end is smaller to insert into part a. There are six fingerholes and a seventh on the raised band near the end. "BAROQUE" is incised above the first fingerhole.
