A woman wears a blue-grayish kimono with the pattern of cherry blossom. She holds a battledore (hagoita 羽子板) and a shuttlecock (hane 羽根) for the game hanetsuki (羽根突き), a traditional game for girls to play for the New Year celebration. Two kites in the shape of a butterfly and in a rectangular shape with the character of dragon respectively are visible in the sky.
