The shallow round bowl has a flat bottom and flat rim. The bowl is constructed of flat plant fiber wrapped around a firmer flat plant fiber. These elements together act as the rod, which are coiled together with plant fibers at regularly spaced intervals. The bottom center is dark blue, though the coiling fibers are left the natural color, and the inner and outer edges of the rim are dark blue. The coiling stitches over the dark portions of the rim and the edge of the dark blue circle are light blue. The remainder of the basket is light natural.
