The long, narrow sash has a cotton base with decorative thread woven in. It has blocks of thin black and white stripes. The stripes are geometric designs in purple, dark blue, yellow, white, and light blue-green. The larger shapes are woven into some of the black and white blocks, including llamas, human figures, star-like shapes, triangles and diamonds. There is a larger, composite shape in the center that has two triangles and two lines with hooks at the ends. The colored detail is the same as above. The fibers at the ends are gathered into a braid. It is edged with red and green.
