The riding crop has a cylindrical wooden handle covered in a rawhide and leather strip. The end of the handle has two rawhide flaps that attach on either side of the strip to secure it. There is a band of narrow woven strips of rawhide at the end of the handle and one broken strip that may have been a loop. It is a light natural color.
