Inscriptions/Signature

The marionette is a male figure wearing a black velvet jacket and red plaid kilt, identified as MacAwful the Scot. He has a round wooden head with a round nose and very large eyes. He wears a red beret with a bright green pompom on top. He has a bushy white beard and hair. He has a light brown and black bag (sporran) at his waist, and red and green plaid socks painted on his legs. He has black shoes and metal hands.

The black controller strings attach to the wooden controller with a metal hook at the center.
