The narrow length of wood has been curved. The ends of the bow are notched at each end to construct a “peg” for a bowstring. The bowstring is made from a single strand of rawhide. The bow is decorated by a piece of sealskin on the convex surface and is covered with stripes of braided sinew, wrapped to the bow with a strip of sealskin. The ends of the decorated portion are wrapped over and under with more braided sinew. It is brown.
