The hand puppet (2007.7396.b) has a separate head (2007.7396.a). His head is a styrofoam ball covered with light brown foam for skin and black string for hair. He has green and white felt eyes with thick black edging. He has round red lips with a black felt mustache and goatee. There is a black cloth cap over the string hair on his head, and a black cloth "braid" hangs down his back, wrapped with yellow yarn. The plastic rods for the neck are wrapped with adhesive tape.

The puppet's body wears a green tunic with light green cuffs, an off-white skirt and black vinyl shoes. The hands are made from the same foam as the face. The proper left hand holds a cardboard hatchet.
