The vertical flute is made from molded black clay. It is cylindrical with a pinched end for the mouthpiece and a shallow flare at the opposite end. There are four fingerholes with clay ridges between, above and below the fingerholes. Each ridge is decorated with semicircular grooves and a circle at each end.
