Description
Inscriptions/Signature

These two panpipes each have the same construction and were intended to be played by two people in tandem.

2007.0653.01 consists of seven bamboo tubes arranged by size. They are bound at the top end with strips of bamboo and string.

2007.0653.02 consists of six bamboo tubes arranged by size. They are bound at the top end with strips of bamboo and string.

There are two pieces of yarn, one red and one yellow, in a loop. The rectangular shape indicates it was wrapped around something, but I was unable to determine which flute it went with.
