This is a length of bamboo open at both ends with a metal band at one end. It has five fingerholes and one thumbhole. There are five bands of purple fibers wrapped at regular intervals. The flute is incised with repeats of a person holding an oud and a woman holding a goblet. Flowers, birds, and four-legged animals are also depicted.
