This animal shaped ceramic flute has a bulbous body and the arms and legs have been broken off, except for one which is the mouthpiece, in close proximity to the whistle hole. The animal's head has one large ear, the other is broken off, and a snout. There is a small hole near the mouth and a single ceramic coil just under the animal's neck.
