The center ridge of a palm leaf has strips of palm leaf woven around it, creating a ridge of loops up either side. The ends of the strips are left loose on the sides. There is a circle of pleated and fanned palm leaf at the top of the woven portion and loose palm fiber strips above. It is a light natural color.

It was used as part of Palm Sunday services. It was set on a home altar after Palm Sunday.
