The large bowl has a flat bottom and flared sides. The exterior is undecorated. The interior is decorated with white designs: a four petal flower-like design with sets of parallel lines in the center bottom, two chevrons of fern-like leaves on the side and a pair of fern-like leaves, a large white flower between sets of leaves, and a small circle of white dots in the space inside the chevrons and pair.

There are two thin white bands and a wavy line at the rim.

It was used for storing, cooking, and serving food. It was stained by black beans cooked inside the bowl.
