Description
Inscriptions/Signature

The small, nearly round ceramic plaque has irregular edges. A bird in profile is incised in the center, with wings raised above the back and the short legs left below. It is grey or dark blue.

The clay is set on a flat piece of broken pottery which is set on the rounded side of another pot and turned on it with one hand while the other shapes the new piece of pottery. This one was used by potter Irene Paz.
