A four wheeled wooden cart with a rectangular base covered in layers of cloth. The base layer is red. There are three bands around the top, one is grey and gold, the next is white, gold, brown, and black, and the top band is red with gold, light blue, and orange. There are square insets around the undecorated red in green, orange and gold, dark blue, and gold and green with white tassels at each corner. Two stylized human figures stand at the front of the cart, each holding a fan and an orange rope. Six human figures on the platform are wearing light blue and holding musical instruments. A single figure at the front is wearing light green, orange, and light blue. The roof is a red laquer with gold detail and a black gable. A red cloth cone sits at the center holding a wooden shaft with leaves and tufts. The top is wrapped in red ribbon, and topped with a metal blade. There is no pullstring.

This object is similar to a float used in the Gion Festival.
