The standing figure is identified as Porfirio Díaz (Mexican president in 1876, 1877-1880, 1884-1911). He is wearing a dark blue hat with white and gold detail. He has white hair and a mustache. He has a military style dark blue jacket and trousers with red detail. There are gold epaulets on the shoulders and he has a saber on his proper left hip. He is wearing a medallion at his neck with red, white, and green ribbon. There are indications of other medals on his chest. He has black shoes. The green and black base has text that reads: Gral Porfirio Díaz.
