Description

A small plaster figure of a woman wearing a black and green kimono with gold stars and pink flowers. She wears a white obi with gold characters. Her underdress is red. Her hairstyle is elaborate with pink, green, and silver ornaments. She holds her kimono closed with her proper left hand and a round red lantern is suspended from a gold handle in her proper right hand. She is wearing tall geta sandals. The figure stands on a black wooden base.

The long kimono sleeves, long obi, geta sandals, red underdress, and "youthful" hair ornaments indicate her status as an apprentice geisha.
