The tall basket has a square bottom, rounded sides, and flared flat rim. The basket is two thicknesses, and the decoration is different between the inside and outside. The edge of the rim has blocks of red and purple.
On the exterior surface the body is divided into three decorative bands by solid bands of red and purple blocks. The top decorative band has alternating diamonds of red and purple. The middle decorative band has squares with wide stripes of red and purple with a small "x" in the center of natural colored fiber. The bottom band has alternating triangles of red and purple. The bottom is natural colored but the weaving pattern is reversed. The interior surface is mostly natural colored with two lines of alternating red and purple blocks.
