This carved wooden cosmetic container (2007.0817.a) has two receptacles. A wooden plug (2007.0817.b) fits in the larger hole and a wooden applicator (2007.0817.c) fits in the smaller hole.

The container is ovoid in cross section. Both sides have an incised rectangle with parallel lines above and below and diagonal lines on either side.

The plug is a wooden cylinder, slightly tapered at one end.

The applicator has a pyramidal top on top of a rectangle. The shaft tapers to a point. It is stained dark blue and pink.
