Description
Inscriptions/Signature

The globular bowl has a glossy red surface carved away to leave a serpent-like figure with a large triangular tongue and curlicue on the head, identified as Avanyu. There is also a band of semicircles at the rim, and the carving left a matte red field for the decorated band.
