The large globular bowl is nearly a full sphere. The top half has an incised design, the serpent-like Avanyu figure in relief. The figure has a jagged tongue with a triangle at the end. The head has a ram's horn-like spiral of stylized feathers behind it. The remainder of the body has groups of stylized feathers, though the body is relatively short because of the pot's shape. It is glossy black.
