The large knife is made of carabao horn. The blade is narrowest at the attachment and gets wider until it tapers sharply to a point. The handle is the natural conical horn shape and there is a guard that attaches at the end of the handle, curves up and between the handle and blade and ends with a small point directed toward the blade. It is mostly dark brown with a small amount of white at the end of the handle and light brown at the tip of the blade.
