Description

A basketry food cover with a round knob or foot, allowing the object to sit upside down (like a basket). It is decorated with stacked chevrons in columns of color: purple, faded green, yellow/pink, brown, yellow, purple, and blue/pink. The open edge is whipstitched with red leather. The leather piece is sewn at the basket's start.
