Description

Small buckskin jacket with buckskin fringe along opening, hemline, shoulder seams, sleeve seams and ends of sleeves. Patch pockets on each breast also have buckskin fringe on all three seams. Triangular flap at top of each pocket. Proper right flap is embellished with colorless and green beads with a faded red cloth border and proper left flap is embellished with colorless and yellow beads and a dark blue cloth border. Each pocket is bordered with short segments of five beads in overlapping diagonal lines.

Star shaped patch pockets of red cotton on each hip. Each pocket is beaded with crossed American flags and a colorless diamond above. Wide band of colorless beads form a circle around red cloth field, and the wide border extends into the arm of the star in dark yellow, red, blue or green.

Red patches at end of each sleeve are pointed on teh bottom with three lobes at top edge. Each patch is beaded with crossed American flags, the proper right with a colorless diamond over top. Wide band of colorless beads extends into each lobe with yellow, blue, red, or green beads. Patch is bordered with colorless beads. Short lines of five beads in a variety of colors border the pointed ends of the sleeves.
