This is a drumstick with a long thin handle. The handle is lightweight. One end is wrapped with leather, rough-side out, with a tuft of reddish hair. The other end has a bit of slightly curved and polished antler at the tip, next to a wide section wrapped with a strip of leather and long leather fringe.
