This is a feather fan with a twisted buckskin fringe tassel. The fan is made from red feathers with black near the tips. Each feather's quill is wrapped with buckskin and thread in stripes of purple yellow, orange, red, and light purple. There is a band of white fur at the end of each buckskin sleeve and a small feather, one yellow and one blue. The handle is wrapped with buckskin and the end is wrapped in stripes of thread in the same colors as the individual feathers.

The shape is loosely held with a piece of black thread woven around the proximal ends of the feathers.
