The oval shaped cradleboard has vertical twig-like slats woven together with three bands of plant fiber every inch or so. The front edge is wrapped with plant fiber. The top of the cradle board is the narrow end, with just the front loop. The bottom has a grid-like platform over the top of an angled woven panel. This would have been filled with moss for a doll to sit on.
