Inscriptions/Signature

Figure seated in front of a loom. Large wooden frame for loom with brown and yellow rug in progress hanging inside the frame. Seated figure has brown hair held in a ponytail with white strings and wears red, long sleeved top decorated with with light blue and white beads along yoke and arms. Her skirt is yellow with small red flowers with green stems. She is sitting on undyed wool. There is a baby wrapped in a white blanket to the figure's left. The whole piece is on a rectangular wooden base covered with a piece of unbleached cotton cloth, held in place with nails at corner.
