Description

The mortar is made from a section of a log. One portion of the circumference was cut off and a rectangular hollow was cut into the log. A silver colored metal piece lines the bottom of the hollow. There is a cylindrical handle on one end. It is brown.

It was used to pound and grind meat for pemmican.
