Figure seated in front of a loom. Large wooden frame for loom with dark blue and pink rug in progress hanging inside the frame. Seated figure has black hair and wears a long sleeved blue velvet top with a silver metal belt. Her skirt is white, yellow and grey floral design. She is sitting on undyed wool. There is a baby wrapped in a white blanket to the figure's right. The whole piece is on a rectangular wooden base covered with a piece of unbleached cotton cloth, held in place with nails at corner.
