Description

The small square basket of birch bark is folded on the ends. The rim is wrapped with plant fiber, and decorated with large medium blue beads at regular intervals. The thin strip of buckskin on the rim at one end of the basket is decorated with medium blue beads and a red bead at each end. The strip was once a handle, that is now broken.
