The round woven basket (2007.2550.a) has slightly curved sides and a flat bottom. The lid (2007.2550.b) is slightly domed with a knob in the center and a short rim that sits over the basket. The basket and lid have a light brown and medium brown checkerboard field. The basket has a wide band of dark brown with short bars of pink, green and purple. The lid has a dark brown band, but the bars of color are woven in a different fashion to yield two narrower parallel bars.
