The papercut depicts a Beijing Opera character identified as Jiang Wei, with a red face with black and white details and a yin and yang sign on the forehead. The prominent black beard has two vertical stripes in dark blue, orange and green. The headdress has a yellow band at the front with green scalloped edges. The dark pink circle at the center has a dark blue circle above. There is a dark pink covering behind the yellow band, decorated with light blue flower-like designs and a green ribbon. There are four blue hairsticks with red tassels, three of which have a black ribbon decorated with a cutout flower design, purple vine, and green and light blue details. The gray ovals along side the beard have dark pink or orange flower details.
