The papercut depicts a Beijing Opera character identified as Li Yuanba, with a dark blue face with brown, white and red detail.

The curled red hair is visible above the headdress with two long curled locks hanging down. The headdress has an irregular yellow shape at the front center with detail in light green, dark pink and dark purple. There is a pink circle at the top center and light blue circles on either side. There is a yellow band with dark blue, light purple and light blue detail with a dark blue and dark pink band. Fin-like purple decorations are present near the eyes, along with a blue circle and a light green circle.

The light green scalloped collar has pink flowers with purple and orange detail and with dark pink and yellow edges. There is a dark purple band with orange flower-like decorations and a light blue band.
