The rectangular frame has a raised decoration on the front. It has a black field with small white dots. There are two small angels at the top. The facing left angel wears yellow with green wings and a horn, the facing right wears purple and has a yellow horn and a white wing. There is a standing skeleton on either side of the glass, facing inward and holding a red pitcher aloft that reads "Oaxaca Mezcal." There are three clouds at the top of the frame and a river at the bottom. There are scattered rain drops, stars, and plants. There is also a glass panel. The picture behind the glass is probably not accessioned. There is a purple background with a bust of a skeleton wearing a black hat and crossing his right hand over his heart.
