A rectangular wooden box that houses a scene of articulated wooden skeletons. Three skeletons with cotton hair sit on a wooden crossbeam. The center figure holds a black horn, the side figures hold yellow horns. The bottom layer of the scene has a white coffin with red and green details in the center. The skeleton in the coffin has cotton hair and appears to sit up when cranked. There is a figure standing behind the coffin wearing a pointed red hat with dark blue detail and a red vest. Articulated skeletons at either end of the coffin have cotton hair as well. There are tissue flowers at either end of the coffin in white, red and dark green. The top of the rectangular box has a decorative piece that sticks up with a yellow circle and two black horn-like elements. There is a yellow banner with red text that reads "EL VELORIO." There is a wire crank at the facing right bottom.
