The large bowl has an orange field and a wide decorated band that covers most of the side. The design repeats four times. Each block has two triangles. The top facing left corner has a black square with a field colored horizontal tulip-like design. Two right triangles with black grid fill out the top triangle. The bottom triangle, in the lower facing right corner has a field colored right triangle with a stepped border, which is thick black. Red fills the remainder of the triangle, which looks like four smaller triangles.
