The papercut depicts a Beijing Opera character identified as Meng Liang, with a red face with a white chin and black details at the eyes and above the lips. There are black fin-like projections near the eyes and a red beard. The headdress has a wide yellow band with a light blue scalloped edge. There is a dark pink circle at the top center and a light blue circle on the proper left. The purple bonnet portion behind the yellow band has a light blue ribbon. The four hair sticks have red tassels. The light green trailers have wavy edges. The orange trailer has a light green vine-like decoration with red dots.
