The papercut depicts a Beijing Opera character identified as Zhu Wen, with a blue and white face with dark purple, red and grey details. There are red fin-like projections near the eyes and a red beard. The headdress has a wide yellow band with bright pink detail and light green edges. There is a red circle at the center with a green circle above. The bonnet portion behind the yellow band is bright pink, dark blue and there is a pink flower. There are two stylized pheasant feathers in yellow with black and green detail. The four hair sticks have red tassels. The trailers are blue-green with dark pink swirls and light green detail. There are rows of grey ovals with dark pink and light green flowers along either side of the beard.
