The papercut depicts a Beijing Opera character identified as Chen Wu, with a dark blue face and black detail on the eyes with gray, red and black above the proper left eye and gray, red, light blue and black above the proper right eye. There are red, black and gray swirls on the cheeks and red fin-like projections near the eyes and red beard. The headdress has a scalloped band of dark pink and a wider scalloped band in yellow with green edges and a sunburst in the center with red, light blue and dark pink detail. The dark pink circle at the top center has green and red detail. There is a light blue animal with a dark blue face, green hair and purple ears next to a pink circle. The four light blue hair sticks have red tassels and ribbon trailers in dark blue with red wavy lines, and light blue and light green detail.
