The papercut depicts a Beijing Opera character identified as Sima Shi, with a red face with black, gray and white details around the eyes and mouth. It has black fin-like decorations near each eye and black sideburns. The headdress has a yellow band with green edges, dark pink, orange, light blue and dark blue details. The bonnet portion is dark pink and dark blue with a green ribbon and green, light blue, and red detail. There are four dark blue hair sticks with a red tassel. Two rear decorations have dark pink ribbon trailers with light green and light blue detail. The front two decorations have light blue-green ribbon trailers with red, dark pink and light green detail. There is a dark blue collar with light blue edging on top with yellow and red detail, and a red scalloped border with light blue and dark blue detail. There is a yellow, dark pink and light green medallion in the front center.
