Description
Inscriptions/Signature

The small black rectangular plaque has a gold colored metal design, overpainted with colors. The scene depicts a male figure, identified as a Mayan priest, standing on a platform. The figure is wearing a headdress with green and yellow feathers. He is bare chested, wears a large gold necklace, green wrsit and ankle bands, and a white skirt-like garment. His right hand is holding a human head. He stands on a gold colored platform with a human skull and an animal skull in white and a fearsome looking green animal head at either end. Green animal feet appear as the base of the platform.
