The man is seated on a stump. The body is made of wire, the hands and feet are pipe cleaners, and his head is a segment of corn cob. He is wearing a hat of loosely woven burlap, a long sleeved blue shirt with small yellow flowers, and green overalls. His left hand rests on his raised left knee and his right hand supports a long brown gun (a rifle or shotgun) that rests on his left hip. He is smoking a pipe made from a kernal of corn.
