The cylindrical ceramic pot (2007.4325.a) tapers slightly as it gets taller. It has two small loop handles near the rim. It is brown with a decorated band at the middle. The bottom of the band is defined by a wide green stripe and the top of the band is defined by a thin yellow and light blue stripe. The repeating design has a black spiral next to a triangular shape of horizontal yellow lines with two wider light blue lines on the top edge. There are three green leaf-like shapes above the blue and light yellow rectangular shapes at the rim and a strip of yellow on each handle. The lid (2007.4325.b) is also brown with a slightly raised dome in the center and a knob at the top. The top of the knob is painted light yellow. There is a wide green band at the edge of the dome and a thin scalloped line in light yellow and black outside the green strip. There is a wider dark blue scallop inside each black shape. The underside of the lid has a lip to sit into the pot.
