Description

Paddle shaped wooden piece from a dance staff. The round portion is painted red with blacks marks for eyes and mouth, which were gold paint. The nose is a black vertical triangle and the black eyebrows are arches above the eyes. Horizontal black marks on cheeks, either side of mouth and on chin. Long black horse hair attached around face through small holes on perimeter. Brown handle is undecorated except for two grooves.
