The shallow coiled bowl has flared sides and a rounded bottom and a cross start. It is decorated with a "whirling steps" pattern of five narrow triangles emerging from a band near the bottom, and has three stepped lines that will connect to an open cross, then a narrow triangle on the rim. There is dark whipstitch on the rim.
