The shallow basket has four wooden elements that extend significantly beyond the rim at roughly right angles to each other. The basket is woven from twisted strings of plant fibers in an openweave pattern, embellished with red and blue stripes. The underside of the basket has a rectangular panel of woven plant fibers in a herringbone pattern. It is brown and there is additional blue pigment on the wooden elements.
