Description

Horizontal triptych depicting three women dressed in vivid kimono in front of a folding screen. Left panel- woman stands facing right, red kimono with floral designs at the bottom and large obi (belt). Black text just above and below center, red text at lower left edge. Center panel, kneeling woman faces to right wearing a green kimono with wisteria, birds, and other floral designs holding a shamisen. Folding screen stretches from center panel into right panel. Screen is decorated with flowering tree in background, large teardrop shaped object in foreground. Right panel, woman in purple kimono kneels in front of small table holding a wooden implement. She turns her head back to the left.
